Northgard Battlegrounds Favor Planner

Every Fate card you take builds favor with a god, and favor decides which god powers you have by Winter and which strong cards show up in your offers. This planner keeps the count for you: add your clan and each card you take, and it shows where every god stands and what the next mark gives.

How to use the planner

  1. Pick your clan. Each clan starts the run with 1 favor with one god, and the planner adds it for you.
  2. Add every card you take during the run from the list under the gods. The planner adds the favor that card gives, keeps a list of your picks and totals the Lore you spent.
  3. Use the − and + buttons for favor you want to set by hand, or to try a plan before the run starts.
  4. Switch on Only cards my favor opens to see just the cards your favor can reach right now. Tap a pick in your list to take it back out.

Your clan and picks stay in this browser, so you can close the page between rounds and carry on.

    How favor works

Every Fate card you take gives favor, and the card says to which god. Most give 1 favor to their own god. 51 cards split it, 1 favor to each of two gods, which is how a Baldr pick can also move you towards Thor. The Fate cards list shows the favor each card gives.

Favor opens two things. At each mark the god grants a power to your whole settlement, and the next tier of that god's cards starts turning up in your offers: Bronze at 3, Silver at 5 and Gold at 8 for most gods. Loki's marks sit at 3, 5 and 7. The planner shows every mark, what it gives and how much favor is still missing.

Gifts are the fast way to favor. Beseech, Pray and Summon give 2, 3 and 4 favor to the god they name, for 4, 16 and 32 Lore. They sit in the neutral pool, which the game splits at 0, 5 and 10 favor without showing whose favor counts, so the "Only cards my favor opens" switch always keeps them in the list.

Plan for two gods, not three. With 16 favor, two gods at 8 give both top powers and both sets of Gold cards. The same 16 spread over three gods leaves them at 5 or 6: three middle powers and no Gold cards at all. Count the clan head start too: on Stag, Baldr needs one pick less from the first round.
