VAMPIR Beginner Guide and Tips for Your First Week
A fresh server rewards the players who know what opens when. Most of VAMPIR's daily systems sit behind the first chapter of the story, the free Offline Mode hours are lost if you log off without setting them up, and the gear you enhance on day two decides how much you rebuild by day seven. This guide follows the first week in the order you will meet it: the story push, the levels that change how you play, the two automatic modes, the settings worth changing, gear, skill books, your clan and the routine that repeats from then on. Pick your class first with the class tier list; everything below works the same for all five.
Push the story to chapter 1, act 3 first

Chapter 1, act 3 is the first real goal. Daily quests open at quest 3-101, the first Epic Dungeon (Weeping Village) one step earlier, and Artifacts with them, so until you get there almost every other system is a locked icon. The clan opens sooner, in act 2, and the Bloodshape and Mount summons sit inside act 1, so you will have a few tickets to open on the way.
Take side quests only when they share an area with the main quest. Walking back to a cleared zone for one reward costs more time than the reward is worth on day one, and those quests are still there later. A little way into act 4 Support Mode opens, and from about level 20 the Guide Quests start pointing you at Collection and the Archive. Run them beside the story: they unlock systems you need anyway.
Much later, from the Bezdan region on, the class you picked starts to change your pace. Melee classes can keep pushing the main quest at a power where ranged classes stall, while ranged classes do better farming zones a little below their power. In the first week that difference doesn't show yet, so push the story with any class.
- Act 1: Bloodshape and Mount summons open
- Act 2: clans open
- Act 3: daily quests, Epic Dungeons, Artifacts
- A little into act 4: Support Mode
- From about level 20: Guide Quests (Collection, Archive)
The levels that change how you play
Level 48 is the one to plan around. Fields up to level 47 are safe zones; from 48 on they are neutral or conflict areas where other players can attack you. Before you cross it, set the auto-combat PvP mode you want and decide where Support Mode may hunt. Level 48 also opens Sefira, so it is a good level to stop and set up a combat preset.
The other big step is level 60. Tomb dispatches, Absolute Discipline and the class change all open there, and the class change needs it as a minimum. If you are unsure of your class, reaching 60 before the next class-change window matters more than any gear.
| Level | What opens |
|---|---|
| 27 | Discipline |
| 32 | Magic Research, Abyss of Creation (Normal Dungeon) |
| 34 | Faded Legacy (Normal Dungeon, best gold) |
| 38 | Black Market |
| 40 | Progeny |
| 41 | Ancient Workshop (8 hours a week) |
| 46 | Naricanje Valley |
| 48 | Sefira; fields become PvP zones |
| 52 | Gehenna |
| 60 | Tomb, Absolute Discipline, class change |
| 62 | Blood Realm Evolution |
| 70 | Elite Dungeons, Arena, Insignia |
Set up Support Mode and Offline Mode before you log off

Offline Mode keeps your character hunting after you log off: 8 hours a day for free, 24 with Olga's Grace, the paid Mileage pass. Support Mode does the same job while you are logged in but busy, and it runs your daily routine in a fixed order: daily quests, then a Normal Dungeon, then field hunting. Set that routine before you start it, or it hunts the wrong place.
Both modes lose EXP when you die, and that is where most first-week waste comes from. You get 5 free EXP recoveries a day (10 with Olga's Grace), and they are worth more during manual play, where a death usually means you pushed a zone too early. Cap Support Mode at two or three deaths so it stops before it eats them all. For Offline Mode, park one zone lower than you would hunt by hand. Potions are the limit overnight, and a spot where you never drink one keeps earning for the full 8 hours.
Pick the Offline spot by its numbers, not the monster level. Stand in a candidate spot for five minutes with Combat Statistics open, note the EXP, then try the next one. Kill speed, survival without potions and the value of the drops decide it. Offline Mode stops during the weekly maintenance, and a Slayer level of 3 or more (from killing players in the field) blocks it, so a player who wants the free hours keeps PK off.
- Offline Mode: 8 hours free, 24 with Olga's Grace
- Support Mode order: daily quests, Normal Dungeon, field hunting
- Cap Support Mode deaths at two or three
- Free EXP recoveries: 5 a day, within 24 hours of the death
Combat settings that save deaths

Auto-combat walks you into trouble in a few predictable ways, and the settings fix most of them on day one. Set target priority to quest monsters first, then monsters attacking you; otherwise a kill quest turns into a long fight with everything nearby. Keep the auto-combat range at 5 to 10 metres so your character doesn't run across the map to a far target and pull a second pack. When you group, raise the fighting-party-members setting so you help with your party's target instead of starting your own fights.
For Support Mode, turn PK off, return to town at your HP threshold and at the weight limit, and auto-buy potions. Potions are limited by weight, not count, so from level 40, when zones start to hit harder, carry as many as the weight limit allows. Keep the three serum buffs in quick slots for the whole levelling stretch. With 20 quick slots there is room for them and your skills.
Gear: what to enhance and what to leave

Starter gear is replaced within days, so don't spend enhance scrolls on it. Start enhancing at Rare (blue) gear, which you keep much longer; accessories are fine to enhance early. Every item has safe levels, shown in green, and red levels where a failure destroys it and leaves only materials. Stay in the green on anything you need: accessories can break from +2 and grave goods from +4. A destroyed Rare or better item can come back, but only with a restore ticket for that slot.
One break is worth doing on purpose. Push the free Rare weapon you get early into the red until it breaks: the enhancement achievement that follows hands you a replacement, so you lose nothing and clear the achievement.
Before you dismantle anything, check Collection. Spare gear registered there turns into a permanent stat bonus, while dismantling gives a handful of materials. Lock the gear you wear, too. Refining, enhancing and Collection all pick items out of the bag, and a locked item can't be fed to them by mistake. The gear guide covers Refine, Blessing and grave goods once you reach them.
Skill books: what to buy and when

Skills come from books, and the town's Skill Book Merchant is the steady source: a first tier from level 15, then a new one every ten levels (25, 35, 45). Buy each tier when it opens. The prices climb steeply, from a few hundred thousand gold to millions by level 45, which is why Faded Legacy's daily gold matters so much in week one.
The story's Bloodline bosses drop books too, so kill each one as you meet it. Use a book the moment you get it. Books bought from the merchant can't be listed on the Marketplace, so holding one gains nothing.
Two spends tempt you early. Save Eternal Coins for the big skill books at their merchant rather than small items. And hold off on crafting Special Skills: the materials come slowly and attempts can fail, so week one's materials do more elsewhere. Each class page lists the big skill its players reach for first, Carnage's The Hunt Begins for example, and the skill order where one is known.
Join a clan in week one

Join a clan in the first days; clans open in act 2, well before most systems. A clan gives buffs, a clan collection, weekly clan content (the Clan Mission boss and Relic Defense) and help in Gehenna later. Pick an active one rather than the first offered. A clan whose members skip the weekly content never reaches the Clan Mission stages that drop Heroic gear, which start at stage 4. New members wait 24 hours as apprentices before clan content opens, so join before you need it.
Donate three times a day. Each donation (gold, Trinity or Diamonds) gives Clan Coins and clan EXP; a free player uses the gold one. Spend Clan Coins on the Overlord portrait first. Portrait upgrades never fail, unlike Artifacts or Sefira, so every coin turns straight into stats.
Your first daily routine

After act 3 the same list repeats every day at the 05:00 server reset, and the weekly list at the start of each week. On a fresh server, doing all of it every day beats any single long session.
Daily quests come first: 10 a day (12 with Olga's Grace), no group needed, gold and Artifact stones on every one. Then the two Normal Dungeons, an hour each. Abyss of Creation (level 32) gives Creation orbs and class portrait restorers; Faded Legacy (level 34) is the best steady gold in the game. Both work in Offline Mode, so they can run while you sleep once Support Mode's routine is set.
World bosses spawn twice a day at fixed times. Contribution is your damage, the top 70% get a contribution chest and the top 100 get chests you can trade, but only if you are in the zone when the boss dies. Turn up for every one you can; on a fresh server those tradable chests are early Diamonds on the Marketplace. Each week also brings 3 free Epic Dungeon entries and 8 hours of Ancient Workshop, the Normal Dungeon that drops gear, Sefira fragments and skill books.
- Every day: 10 daily quests, Abyss of Creation 1 hour, Faded Legacy 1 hour, world bosses, Offline Mode
- Every week: Epic Dungeons 3 entries, Ancient Workshop 8 hours, clan content
- Later: Progeny exploration (level 40), Tomb dispatches every 8 hours (level 60)
Reset times and the weekly schedule

Everything runs on server time, not your phone's clock. The daily reset is at 05:00, when the daily quest list and the daily counters refill. The weekly reset is Monday at 05:00, which is when the Farming Diamond cap and the three free Epic Dungeon entries come back, and monthly counters reset on the 1st at 05:00.
World bosses come up twice a day, at 12:00 and 20:00. In the Citadel of Eternal Night the bosses spawn at 13:00, 17:00 and 21:00, and the three Guardian Beasts at 13:00 and 21:00 only, so a late-evening session catches both a world boss and a Citadel round.
The weekly clan war has a fixed rhythm too. Sign-up opens on Wednesday at 10:00 and closes at the end of Friday, and the war itself starts on Saturday at 20:30 and lasts 31 minutes. Plan your Saturday evening around it once your clan is level 5.
Platforms, cross-play and PC requirements

The global version opened on 27 October 2026 at 19:00 PDT. It runs on iOS and Android and on PC through the Epic Games Store or the Netmarble Launcher, with full cross-platform play, so PC and phone players meet on the same servers.
One global client carries 16 text languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Russian, Thai, Indonesian, Malay, Japanese, Korean and both Chinese scripts. Voices are Korean only. You pick the language in the settings, separately from the server you play on.
On PC the game needs Windows 10, DirectX 11 and 16 GB of RAM at both levels. The minimum is an Intel i5 at 3.0 GHz with a GeForce GTX 1060; the recommended setup is an Intel i7 or Ryzen 7 with a GeForce 2060. If your PC sits near the minimum, play on the phone and keep the PC for longer sessions. You sign in with an Epic, Google, Apple, Facebook or Netmarble account, and the same login carries your character between devices.
Mistakes that cost a fresh-server week

Most first-week losses come from spending something you can't get back. As a free player, don't put Diamonds into Blood Realm resets or heavy Discipline locking: both are spender territory, and the same Diamonds pay for Tomb deeds, bag slots and EXP recoveries. Don't dismantle gear before it is registered in Collection, and don't enhance gear you need into the red levels.
The costliest mistake is the class. A class change opens only in announced windows, needs level 60 and costs 2,000 Diamonds, plus Class Change Proofs for any Legendary gear or Bloodshape you convert. Read the class tier list before you start. Bloodstained is the safe first pick and Viper the most flexible free one; Akasha and Grim Reaper are harder on a free player in the first weeks.
