VAMPIR Class Change Guide: Costs and What Carries Over
VAMPIR lets you change class without starting over, but only in announced windows and only at a price. Level, EXP, quests and items carry over; class-bound gear converts, some of it free and some of it for Class Change Proofs. The cost lands hardest on the players who invested most, so the time to plan a change is before you buy that Legendary. This guide covers the rules, the price list and the choice of class.
When you can change and what it costs

The class change opens only in announced windows, usually about a week, and you switch freely inside one. You need character level 60, and the base cost is 2,000 Diamonds, Farming Diamonds accepted. That last part matters for a free player: one week of capped Farming Diamonds with Farm's Grace, or two weeks without it, pays for the change, so a player who suspects they picked wrong can save toward it instead of rerolling.
The change happens in town. Your level, EXP, quest progress and items stay; what changes is the class, its skills and anything bound to the old class, which converts by the rules below.
What converts, and the Proof price list
Weapons of any class convert to your new class's weapon at the same grade, keeping enhancement, refinement, Blessing and bound status. Your current class's Bloodshapes convert to the new class's at the same grade, except into one you already own. Skill cards convert at the highest grade of each, and a card is left out if you already own a higher one. Quick slots and all skill settings reset.
The price is Class Change Proofs on top of the Diamonds, and it scales with what you own. Rare weapons, Heroic Bloodshapes and Rare or lower skills convert free. Legendary pieces are the expensive ones, and a Mythic Bloodshape costs more than every other line put together.
| Converting | Proofs each | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Mythic Bloodshape | 1,200 | 1 |
| Legendary Bloodshape | 100 | |
| Heroic Bloodshape | free | |
| Legendary weapon | 250 | 3 |
| Heroic weapon | 25 | |
| Rare weapon | free | |
| Heroic skill | 12 | no limit |
| Rare or lower skill | free |
Before you change: two checks

Read the skill-conversion warning on the change screen before you confirm. It lists which skills carry over; check that the ones you paid most for are on it, since Heroic skills cost Proofs to move and quick slots start empty.
Then look at your Bloodshapes. Only your current class's Bloodshapes convert, and a Legendary costs 100 Proofs to move. If you already own a Legendary Bloodshape for one of the classes you are weighing, that class is the cheaper move: you skip the conversion and its passives are already yours. Remember too that another class's Bloodshape still gives you its stats when worn, only its class passives stay off, so a Bloodshape you don't convert isn't wasted.
Picking the class to change to
Decide by what you play most, using the class tier list's PvE and PvP lists. The short version for a change: Bloodstained is the safe class that rarely dies and clears story bosses alone; Viper is the most flexible free pick, strong in groups and clan fights; Akasha is for players focused on PvP or spending heavily, and a free Akasha struggles early; Grim Reaper farms poorly for a free player but wins duels, so it suits a PvP main backed by a second character that does the hunting.
Range matters as much as rank. Carnage fires from 8.5 m and Viper casts from 9 m, so both kill a pack before it reaches them, and on a crowded server, where players compete for every spawn, that reach wins more kills too. The three melee classes fight from 2.5 to 3 m, each in its own way: Bloodstained stays standing, Akasha chases, Grim Reaper picks off one target. A free player changing to farm faster usually moves to the ranged pair; one changing to duel moves the other way.
Two warnings. A class balance pass is due in November and a new class is in preparation, so a change made just before that patch may look different after it. And Naricanje Valley ranks each class separately, which can make a quiet class look tempting for season rewards; weigh a season's rewards against paying for two changes, there and back.
After the change

Rebuild your combat presets first. Quick slots and skill settings reset, so each of the four presets needs its skill bar and skill priority set again. Check the new class page for its skill order where one is known.
If the new class is Akasha, set the auto-recovery threshold before you hunt. Full Strength adds 12% damage at 80% HP or more and 15% at 30% or less, with nothing in between, so recovering just above 80% keeps the 12% running. Chasing the 15% means turning recovery right down, which is the riskier way to play.
Then check the rankings. Naricanje Valley's season ranking refreshes after a class change, so your old clear no longer counts for the new class; plan a run early in the next season. Last, open your Bloodshape list: the converted ones carry the new class's passives, while any you left unconverted still add their stats, so pick the one to wear by what the new class needs.
